Thanks for letting us know! I think I may buy one for Brooke's 11th birthday. Is 11 too young, or would she be able to relate to it?

Thanks for asking, Alyson. Yes, I think an eleven-year-old could easily enjoy most of the stories. The ones about returned missionaries might be a tad old for her (unless she likes a splash of romance), but most young people these days do like to read several years above their age.

Just passing through. I notice that your sidebar has a reader's duty clause. I think there's a typo there. You ask that the reader "not tell." Is that what you intended?

Thanks, Anonymous. I know what you mean. I found that statement ambiguous, also. However, since it's a direct quote from a 1918 book, I thought I'd better leave it alone :-)

The writer is really posing a question to readers. Today, we'd say "Won't you please tell someone about this book?"
